63% Favor Repeal of Obamacare

Check out the latest Rasmussen poll.

America didn’t want this mess jammed through and now that we’ve seen “what’s in it” we like it even less. Only about a third of those polled favor the plan.  This is close to the 30% who want a government controlled society as referred to in the Arthur Brooks piece on free enterprise posted just below.

I thought it was interesting to click through to more stats referring to the “political class”. Politicians are about the only ones who approve of what politicians are doing.

  1. Let’s see if this group [63%] will turn the bastards out in Nov ’10. Then and only then can the repeal of this legislation begin. We must have a veto proof majority in at least one House of Congress to have a pray of getting the repeal through. Obama will, of course, not be responsive to his landmark ‘accomplishment’ being rescinded.

  2. I don’t think we’ll achieve anything like a veto proof majority in 2010 but at least we can halt the funding and implementation of much of the 2,700 pages. We need to keep the momentum going for a significant majority of new school republicans and new president. They need to run on repeal and follow through.
